Published By optimum releases (foreign films are often plublished by them) this film is set in a villiage where there have been rumours of a wizard called Howl who is said to eat the hearts of young women. Only to find out that it is howls heart that has been eaten. A young hat maker called sophie who has been cursed by the witch of the waste to be old beyond her years and is sets out to find howl to see if he can cure her.

A ticket for each talk (free and charged-for) will be available free of charge. Tickets will be held back for any Golden Programme Holders, and will be available to collect at the event when you pick up your pass.

3. Autograph Queues

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

AUTOGRAPHS:
There will be a charge for each actor's autograph. This will generally be between £10 - £20 per signature depending on which guest. (Please note: These prices are only approximate and are subject to change.)
You can have this autograph on one of a selection of free 8"X10" photographs supplied at the show, or on your own items.
(Please note: Charges are for the autographs themselves, so apply to personal items as well as available photographs. Free 8"X10" photographs are made available only to be autographed)

VIRTUAL QUEUING:
To help cut down the amount of time you have to spend standing in a queue we have introduced a virtual queuing system.
When you join the end of a guest's queue you will be handed a ticket with a number on it. Once you have your ticket you will then be free to wander around the event or join other queues. Ticket numbers will then be announced (in batches of around 50) once the previous group of people have their autographs, and you can then join the much smaller queue of fans who hold those numbers.
One your number has been called there will of couse still be some queuing involved! Waiting times will vary between the guests, but we will try to keep the time down to around 30 - 45 minutes (however this is very much dependant on the amount of time each person spends talking to the actor, how many items they are having signed, etc, and so these times are only a rough estimate).
We do advise that you try to get there early if there is a guest you are particularly keen to meet as queues do start to form for virtual queue tickets before the event opens.
The virtual queuing system will only be running for the most popular / busy guests, so there will still be plenty of opportunity to meet many of the other actors appearing at LFCC!

PRE-ORDERING AUTOGRAPHS:
Unfortunately we do not have any procedures in place to obtain autographs from the guests on behalf of fans unable to attend the event. However autographs will be available from our sponsor MSPG Autographs (click here)

PHOTOGRAPHING THE GUESTS/USE OF VIDEO CAMERAS:
We recognise that getting a photo with a guest can be important. Therefore, when you meet the guest to obtain your autograph, there is usually no further charge for taking a photo with them. However, as the day progresses, it does sometimes become necessary to stop photos in order that the guests can get through and meet more people, otherwise there would be fans that would go home not having met them at all.
Please also bear in mind that whilst guests are often willing to pose for photos with fans, there may be reasons why they decline. If this happens please do respect their wishes.
The use of video cameras is permitted in the dealers room, although we would advise asking someone's permission before filming them. All we ask is that you use your discretion and not to film anyone that doesn't want to be filmed (this goes for fans, staff and dealers as well as guests).
Video Cameras are NOT allowed into Guest Talks or screenings. This is for a number of reasons both legal and practical.

The 1st Midlands MCM Expo was without a doubt a huge success with thousands of people visiting the International Centre Telford on the 24th February 2007.

It’s so easy to get to the 'Telford International Centre'. Wherever you start from, however you travel, getting there couldn’t be easier!

From M6 northbound
Join M54 at M6/J10A. Travel west to M54/J4. Take the second exit and follow signs to The International Centre.

From M6 Toll northbound
Leave M6 Toll at junction T8. This equates to M6/J11. Go straight ahead into A460 (Wolverhampton Road) towards Wolverhampton. After 2.4 miles access M54/J1. Bleach is coming to wii!

Bleach has finally made it to wii! In this amaizing new game you will be able to play as 32 different characters with stunning graphics brought to you by nintendo. Also you get to use a ful playing field where all directions are useable, unlike the platform previous ds versions. An added bonus is the brilliant attacks which have been used cleverly from the series.

Anime, pronounced"Ah-nee-may" in English, is an abbreviation of the word "animation". Outside Japan, the term most popularly refers to animation originating from Japan; and to the Occidental way of thinking, not all animations are considered anime. Anime is therefore usually considered to be a subset of animation. Anime is adapted from "manga's"[literally meaning "comic drawn"]which is traditionally hand drawn, but like in most animation computer assisted animation techniques have become quite common in recent years. The story-lines of anime represent most major genres of fiction or based on tradditional japanese legends and most motion-picture media (television broadcast, DVD and VHS distribution, and full length motion pictures).

The history of anime begins at the start of the 20th century, when Japanese filmmakers experimented with the animation techniques that were being explored in France, Germany, the United States, and Russia. The oldest known anime is in 19

07, a three second clip of a sailor boy. By the 1930s, animation became an alternative format of

storytelling compared to the underdeveloped live-action industry in Japan. Unlike America, the live-action industry in Japan remained a small market and suffered from budgeting, location, and casting restrictions. The lack of Western-looking actors, for example, made it next to impossible to shoot films set in Europe, America, or fantasy worlds that do not naturally involve Japan. The varied use of animation allowed artists to create any characters andsettings.

Starting with Snow White, Walt Disney demonstrated animation's potential as a medium. The success of Disney's works influenced Japanese animators. Osamu Tezuka adapted and simplified many Disney animation precepts to reduce the budget costs and number of frames in the production. This was intended to be a temporary measure to allow him to produce one episode every week with an inexperienced animation staff. Some animators in Japan overcome production budgets by utilizing different techniques than the Disney or the old Tezuka/Otsuka methods of animating anime. During the 1970s, there was a surge of growth in the popularity of manga—which were often later animated—especially those of Osamu Tezuka, who has been called a "legend"and the "god of manga". As a result of his work and that of other pioneers in the field, anime developed characteristics and genres that are fundamental elements of the art today. The giant robot genre (known as "mecha" outside Japan), for instance, took shape under Tezuka, developed under Go Nagai and others, and was revolutionized at the end of the decade by Yoshiyuki Tomino. Robot anime like Gundam and Macross became instant classics in the 80s, and the robot genre of anime is still one of the most heard of in Japan and worldwide today. In the 1980s, anime was accepted in the mainstream in Japan, and experienced a boom in production (it should be noticed that manga has significantly more mainstream exposure than anime in Japan). The mid-to-late '90s, on into the 2000s, saw an increased acceptance of anime in overseas markets. However,the first anime to be made a "hit" for all japanese animes to come was Akira.

Akira (pronounced AH-kee-rah) is a 1988 Japanese animated film co-written and directed by Katsuhiro Otomo based on his manga of the same name. The movie led the way for the growing popularity of anime in the West, with Akira considered a forerunner of the second wave of anime fandom that began in the early 1990s. One of the reasons for the movie's success was the highly advanced quality of its animation. At the time, most anime was notorious for cutting production corners with limited motion, such as having only the characters' mouths move while their faces remained static. Akira broke from this trend with meticulously detailed scenes, exactingly lip-synched dialogue — a first for an anime production (voices were recorded before the animation was completed, rather than the opposite) — and super-fluid motion as realized in the film's more than 160,000 animation cels. It is regarded by critics as one of the greatest animated films ever made. They say that this film is possibly one of the main influences for the film The Matrix If it was not for Akira No Matrix.

Naruto is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto with an anime adaptation. The main character, Naruto Uzumaki, is a loud, hyperactive, unpredictable adolescent ninja who constantly searches for recognition and aspires to become a Hokage, the ninja in the village acknowledged as the leader and the strongest of all. Kishimoto first authored a one-shot of Naruto in the August 1997 issue of Akamaru Jump.[1] The plot differed substantially in that Naruto was the son of the demon fox instead of being the container, and the story was placed in a more modern setting.[2] This early version of Naruto already had the ability to transform into a sexy young woman - but when he did so, a fox tail sprouted. Kishimoto then rewrote the story to its current form, which was first published by Shueisha in 1999 in the 43rd issue of Japan's Shonen Jump magazine. As of volume 36, the manga has sold over 71 million copies in Japan.[3] Viz Media publishes a translated version in the American Shonen Jump magazine. Naruto has become Viz's best-selling manga series.[4] To date, the first 27 volumes are available. In order to catch up to the translated anime, Viz plans to release volumes 16 to 27 three at a time over the months of September to December 2007.[5]The first of two anime series, produced by Studio Pierrot and Aniplex, premiered across Japan on the terrestrial TV Tokyo network and the anime satellite television network Animax on October 3, 2002, and is still being aired. Viz also licensed the anime for North American production. Naruto debuted in the United States on Cartoon Network's Toonami programming block on September 10, 2005, and in Canada on YTV's Bionix on September 16, 2005. Naruto began showing in the UK on Jetix on July 22, 2006. It began showing on Toasted TV on January 12, 2007 in Australia, which features the German dub opening, although it could be watched on Cartoon Network in 2006. The first series lasted nine seasons, while Naruto: Shippūden began its first on February 15, 2007.

The students at the Ninja Academy, where the story begins, are split up into squads of three after their graduation and become Genin, junior ninja. Each squad is assigned an experienced sensei. These core squads form a basis for the characters' interactions later in the series, where characters are chosen for missions for their team's strength and complementary skills; Naruto's squad 7 becomes the social frame where Naruto is acquainted with Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno, and their sensei Kakashi Hatake, forming the core of his world-in-the-making. The other three-man teams of his former classmates form another such layer, as Naruto connects with them to various degrees, learning of their motives, vulnerabilities, and aspirations, often relating them to his own. Metroid Prime 3

Metroid Prime 3 is the newest (and last) game in the Metroid Prime series. The game is about Samus Aran (that's a girl, by the way) who is once again called to the aid of the Galactic Federation when Phazon Samus (otherwise known as Dark Samus) breaks out of the prison where she (it?) was placed. During the game, you get the power to use the Phazon that was placed inside you by activating Hypermode. During Hypermode, your attack power is vastly increased, and your charged shot is a Gatling gun attack. The downside is that you use up an entire Energy tank if the Hypermode meter depletes completely. Nintendo have shown their genius by making the Wiimote controls actually help you instead of being a hindrance. Other innovations include the morphbll being able to jump without the use of a bomb (finally!) and the use of the Wiimote as the arm cannon makes you feel immersed in the game, as if you are Samus. The beginning bosses have been tweaked so they're challenging yet not so hard you take the game back to the shop where you got it from. There are some interesting cameos too, like Meta Ripley. Overall, it's a game for players of many different genres, such as puzzles, action, adventure and for hardcore fans of the series.

Dragon Ball Z (ドラゴンボールZ, Doragon Bōru Zetto?, commonly abbreviated as DBZ) is a Japanese anime series produced by Toei Doga (now Toei Animation). Dragon Ball Z is the sequel to the Dragon Ball anime and Japanese comics of the same name, which covers the first 16 volumes of a 42 volume manga series created by Akira Toriyama, while Dragon Ball Z adapts the last 26 volumes of the original manga. The Dragon Ball Z anime first aired in Japan from April 26, 1989 to January 31, 1996,[1] and was dubbed in several countries around the world, including Latin America and in the United States. The American themes and soundtracks were composed and produced in part by Bruce Faulconer.

International English version

Until 2001, other English speaking countries including the UK, Canada, Australia and Republic of Ireland received FUNimation's English version of DBZ, both the Ocean Group and FUNimation dubs. This changed when Episode 108 aired in the UK (also in The Netherlands); the English Dub switched to a version produced by the Blue Water studios. This version regained the original voice actors from the Ocean Group instead of the FUNimation voice cast. This version began airing in Canada in the autumn of 2001 from Episode 168, and ran through to the end of the series. It used FUNimation's own videotracks and its scripts, albeit with some changes. This version used music recycled from the Mega Man and Monster Rancher cartoons, as well as a few original pieces for the series by Jon Mitchell, Tom Keenlyside and David Iris. This version suffered from low production values and a rushed schedule. Many voices did not stay consistent through the series, and by the end few remained from the original 1996 cast. Grammar:
(1) Nouns

Japanese nouns have no gender, no singular/plural, and no articles. ("the" and "a" etc.) For example, the word "tomodachi" can be "a friend," "the friend," "friends," or "the friends." Usually the context tells the particular meaning of a word.

(2) ~ desu

"~ desu" is equivalent to English "am," "are," or "is." Unlike English, it doesn't change its form according to the subject. "~ desu" always comes at the end of a sentence.

Watashi wa gakusei desu.	I am a student.
Kochira wa Yamada-san desu.	This is Ms. Yamada.
Watashitachi wa tomodachi desu	We are friends.

(3) Omission of topic

When it is obvious to the other person what the topic is, it is generally omitted.

(Watashi wa) Hiroko desu	I am Hiroko
(Watashi wa) gakusei desu	I am a student

(4) Negative form

The negative form of "~ desu" is "~ ja arimasen" or "~ dewa arimasen." "~ dewa arimasen" is more formal, and "~ ja arimasen" is common in casual conversation.

Gakusei dewa arimasen	I am not a student
Nihon-jin ja arimasen	I am not Japanese

(5) Particles

A particle is a word that shows the relationship of a word, a phrase or a clause to the rest of the sentence. Particles are an important part of Japanese sentence structure. They resemble English prepositions in the way they connect words, but unlike English prepositions, which come before nouns, Japanese particles always come after nouns. Often these particles can not be translated.

Wa (topic marker)

The particle "wa" has no English equivalent. It tells you that the noun in front of it is the topic of the sentence. What comes after "wa" is the comment. Literally, "wa" means "as for."

Watashi wa Gakusei desu

I am a student

Mo (also)

The particle "mo" means "also," "too," or "as well." It is used in both affirmative and negative sentences.

Anata mo Gakusei desu ka

Are you a student,too?

No (possessive marker)

The particle "no" indicates possession or attribution and comes after the noun it modifies. It is like the English apostrophe ('s). E.g. Karen's.

Watashi no Tomodachi	My friend
Kimura-san no senmon	Mr. Kimura's field of study

(6) Questions

The particle "ka" is a question marker. The formation of a question in Japanese is easy. Put the particle "ka" at the end of a sentence and it becomes a question. The word order does not change.

Kimura-san wa gakusei desu	Mr. Kimura is a student.
Kimura-san wa gakusei desu ka	Is Mr. Kimura a student?
